人材不足が深刻化する日本。本年4月より入管法が改正となり外国人採用の現場が大きく変わろうとしています。
しかしながら今回の法改正では、より高度なスキルを持ち、日本の企業や社会にイノベーションをもたらしてくれるような外国人材の採用や就職には寄与しない不本意なものでした。
そのような高度人材を招き、日本企業で活躍してもらうには、何が必要なのか、また彼ら日本で働いている外国人は何を感じているのか。
今回弊社では、ハーバード大学を優秀な成績で卒業し、グローバルキャリア、異文化、リーダシップ、美に関する著作。テレビ・新聞・雑誌等への出演多数あり、韓国のシンクタンクを経て日本で投資会社に勤務されているシンガポール人のRachelLengさんをお招きし、お話を伺う機会を設けました。
また、講演後は、既に日本国内で長期にわたり勤務し、各分野の一線で活躍している外国人の方にもご参加いただき、AMA方式のパネルディスカッションを開催いたします。

【パネリスト紹介】
①Rachel Leng (出身：シンガポール)：
Rachelis an international speaker, multi-award winning writer, former Miss Singaporetitleholder, and East Asia specialist graduated from Harvard and DukeUniversities. She worked in the top policy think tank in Seoul, South Koreabefore moving to Tokyo, Japan to enter private equity. Currently, she is on theinvestment management team at a Japanese fund investing in healthcare and techSMEs. She has been internationally profiled and regularly holds seminars oncultural perspectives, global careers, writing, cross-border business &leadership. In 2017, she was awarded Best Mentor of the Year by the S. Koreangovernment. She is also a freelance writer/editor and education consultant, andhas a keen interest in the media industry.
②Eric Greenberg(出身：アメリカ)：
Ericis a twenty year resident of Japan who has spent the majority of his time as aCountry Manager for foreign businesses operating in Japan, selling variousservices and products, and mainly technology solutions to Japanesebusinesses. He also has 8 years experience in sales roles in APAC and 5years in global sales roles.
③Balaji Ram(出身：インド)：
Balajihas Completed his graduation with Engineering from India and MBA inInternational Management , Japan. He has been in Japan from 2007 withexperience from Industries such as Automotive and Investment Banking inJapan. Presently working with an E-commerce in Japan as a Project Managerfor R&D team (AI, Computer Vision and Robotics).
④Gianella Durand(出身：ペルー)：
Gianellahas been living in Japan for almost 6 years. She came as a MEXT undergradscholar in April 2013, studied Japanese in Osaka University for a year and thentransferred to Hokkaido University where she graduated from the Faculty ofEconomics and Business Administration. Gianella currently works in the ITindustry as a software engineer.
⑤Koichi Takeuchi(出身：日本)：
Koichistudied at California State University, Sacramento.
Heis CEO of GLOBALPOWER Inc. from 2010 and trustee of the Japan Association for the Employment ofForeign Nationals. He is the pioneer of establishing the staffing service forforeign nationals.
